One licence runs one playout PC and one LED screen. A stadium with a perimeter run and a fascia needs two screens on the same licence; a match that cannot afford to stop needs a backup PC, which mirrors the main one and takes the wall by itself. There are no feature tiers: every licence has the whole of playout. What the software does.

Questions clubs ask before they buy
- What does one licence cover?
- One playout PC driving one LED screen, with every playout feature in it. A screen is one output of the wall, so a ground with a perimeter run and a fascia has two. Screens and a backup PC are added to the same licence as the wall grows.
- Does the playout PC need the internet during a match?
- No. The software checks its licence when it starts and now and then while it runs. After a good check it keeps playing offline for seven days. Past that it warns you and stops playout until it can check again, so connect the rig at least once a week.
- What happens to the licence if we replace the PC?
- Tell us and we move it to the new machine. A licence is tied to one PC, which is why the move goes through us.
- Can we try it on our own wall first?
- Yes. A trial licence runs the whole software with a "USM Trial Version" watermark on the output, which is fine for rehearsals and testing on the real wall. A sponsor's live match needs a full licence. Ask us for a trial.
- Is LED monitoring included?
- It is a paid option, switched on per licence, and we quote it on request. How LED monitoring works.
- What does the backup PC do?
- It mirrors the main PC for the whole match and takes the wall by itself after about five seconds of silence from it. What happens when the playout PC dies.
